Jennifer Struebing Freet is CEO and Partner of Balboa Manufacturing Co., where she leads a multi-brand consumer products business, overseeing strategy, operations, and growth. She is also the founding President of the SDSU MBA & Graduate Business Alumni Chapter. Known for her authentic, connection-driven leadership style, she is focused on building a strong, engaged alumni community rooted in trust, shared experience, and long-term relationships. She also serves as Chair of the Management Department Advisory Board at SDSU’s Fowler College of Business and as an Industry Advisor for Strategic Consulting (MBA Capstone project), working with graduate teams on real-world business challenges.
As founding President, Jennifer is committed to establishing a lasting foundation for the alumni chapter—one defined by credibility, inclusivity, and continuity. A proud SDSU EMBA alumna, she is deeply dedicated to strengthening connections among alumni, students, faculty, and the broader business community while creating a vibrant, enduring network for future generations.
Project Manager, Nova Group
’24 MBA
Eric Kelley is a Licensed Civil Engineer and Project Manager at Nova Group, where he leads complex federal infrastructure and construction projects. He has extensive experience delivering large-scale public and private projects—consistently achieving zero-accident records, high quality standards, and completion ahead of schedule and under budget. His work includes major initiatives such as the $4 billion Terminal 1 Replacement at San Diego International Airport and projects at Naval Base Point Loma, as well as global design-build efforts managing multinational, multilingual teams.
Beyond his professional work, Eric is deeply engaged in community service and mentorship. He has held leadership roles with the American Society of Civil Engineers San Diego Chapter and volunteered with organizations such as Engineers Without Borders and Connect City Heights, supporting underserved communities and aspiring students. He holds an MBA from SDSU and a BS in Civil Engineering, magna cum laude, from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, along with multiple industry certifications.

'26 MBA
Marco Loza serves as Treasurer of the SDSU MBA & Graduate Business Alumni Chapter, where he oversees financial strategy, budgeting, and compliance. He is responsible for both short- and long-term financial planning and works closely with university partners to ensure transparency and accountability in all financial operations.
Professionally, Marco brings experience in consumer insights, market research, and strategic planning. He has worked as a consultant and previously held a strategy role at Tinuiti, leading research and performance planning for CPG and technology clients while developing tools to improve cross-functional efficiency. He also served as an Independent Board Director for Associated Students SDSU. Marco holds a BA in English and Anthropology from SDSU and completes his MBA in May 2026.
Sales Development Representative, Meadow
’25 MS Global Business Development
Elise Schild is a business development professional in the higher education technology space and serves as Events Chair for the SDSU MBA & Graduate Business Alumni Chapter. She works at Meadow, where she partners with colleges and universities to implement tools that improve financial clarity, streamline operations, and support student success.
Her career spans education and business development, including experience as a teacher, university staff member, and consultant. Elise previously served as Vice President of her MS in Global Business Development cohort and participated in SDSU’s Executives in Residence program, where she built strong connections with alumni and industry leaders. She is passionate about creating collaborative, mission-driven environments and designing meaningful events that foster community engagement.
Executive Project Coordinator, West Health

Michelle Sainz is an administrative healthcare professional with a background in public health and a focus on improving care for older adults. She has experience across for-profit and nonprofit sectors, bringing a mission-driven and operationally focused approach to healthcare delivery, access, and outcomes.
Currently an Executive Project Coordinator at West Health, Michelle supports strategic initiatives that advance healthcare innovation and affordability. She has held management roles overseeing budgets, personnel, and daily operations, and has led cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and strengthen organizational effectiveness. Michelle also has experience developing volunteer programs and fostering collaboration across diverse and multilingual teams.
