Nicolas Carcovich is a visionary global seafood executive, entrepreneur, and ecosystem builder with nearly two decades of experience leading cross-border ventures between Latin America and the United States. Originally from Peru and now based in San Diego, he has dedicated his career to transforming traditional commodity based seafood into high-value, sustainable, and scalable businesses that meet the demands of modern U.S. retail and foodservice markets.

As founder and managing executive of the Seafrost U.S. branch, Sinai Seafood, and Caleb Foods Nicolas leads teams focused on product innovation, global sourcing and pricing architecture. He has expertise in scaling programs with major partners such as Costco, Walmart, and leading national wholesalers.

In addition to his executive responsibilities, Nicolas is strongly committed to developing the next generation of global business leaders. He earned his Master of Science in Global Business Development (MSGBD) from San Diego State University and an MBA from CENTRUM Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. As an engaged member of the Wendy Gillespie Center community, he contributes through mentorship, strategic consulting projects, and student-centered initiatives that bridge academic insight with real-world global industry practice.

Nicolas brings a multicultural perspective and a passion for value-added innovation to the Advisory Board of the Wendy Gillespie Center for Advancing Global Business, supporting its mission to advance international business education.
