Ash Padwal

B.E.(E&T/C), JD, CIPP/US, CIPP/E

Ash Padwal has 25+ years of experience in the fields of law, regulatory affairs, compliance, corporate governance and risk management. Over the course of his career, he has held a variety of positions in the high tech industry ranging from CEO to CRO to COO of multinational companies. He advises executives on risk management, cybersecurity and information privacy issues. Since 2020, Ash has been a Lecturer in the Lucas College and Graduate School of Business at San Jose State University, where he teaches Law and Business Ethics.

Ash is a graduate of the law school at Santa Clara University and has an undergraduate degree in Electronics & Telecom Engineering. At various times throughout his career, he has served on boards of the Aerospace Industries Association, Silicon Valley Leadership Group, American Electronics Association, Technet, US-ASEAN Business Council and UC Merced Foundation.
