A Night with the Gulls

On Wednesday, November 15, the Sports MBA program partnered with the San Diego Gulls front office to host current and prospective students at a game against the Charlotte Checkers. 

The group was graciously hosted by the Gulls’ Manager of Group and Inside Sales, Bill Foltz (SMBA ‘22), a recent alumnus (and class valedictorian!) of the Sports MBA program. 

Students had access to several members of the Gulls front office to discuss the team’s business operations. In addition to the networking, students also enjoyed a high-scoring hockey game and some special enhancements thanks to Foltz, who welcomed the group into the tunnel for high-fives and set up one of the MBA students with a pregame Zamboni ride.
