Bio
Yaoyi Xi is a professor of finance at the Fowler College of Business at San Diego State University. He teaches subjects that range from finance fundamentals to financial analysis case studies. He also advises MBA students on their consulting engagements. Xi's primary research interests are in empirical corporate finance with a focus on behavioral finance, politics and finance, and financial reporting. His research has been published in academic journals such as Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and Journal of Accounting and Economics, and has been featured in press outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, Reuters, and CNBC.
