William G. Hooper is an accomplished real estate executive and educator with extensive leadership experience spanning commercial, industrial, retail, and residential asset management. He currently serves as the Senior Director of Operations and Construction for an extensive portfolio in Southern California, where he directs large-scale operational strategies, oversees multi-million dollar capital improvement programs, and drives value-add execution and strategic repositioning.
With a career spanning over two decades in real estate investment, corporate real estate leadership, and financial management, Professor Hooper has held senior leadership roles with prominent regional firms, including the HG Fenton Company, a subsidiary of OakTree Capital, and San Diego National Bank. His core professional expertise encompasses comprehensive investment underwriting, complex leasing negotiations, capital project management, and strategic financial oversight.
An alumnus of San Diego State University, Professor Hooper earned both his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance) and his Master of Science in Business Administration from SDSU..
In the classroom, he brings his extensive industry background to students, bridging rigorous academic principles with practical, real-world applications in property management and real estate.
