Bio
Mingming Ao is an assistant professor of finance at the Fowler College of Business. She holds a Ph.D. in finance from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in mathematical risk management from Georgia State University.
Her research focuses on topics in corporate finance, including banking regulation, debt covenants, financial distress, and competition networks. In addition to her academic background, she brings substantial industry experience spanning the consumer products, insurance, hedge funds, and banking sectors.
She teaches Intermediate Finance (FIN 325) and Entrepreneurial Finance (FIN 328).
