Bio

Aaron Wester is a STEM Lecturer for the Management Information Systems Department at San Diego State University's (SDSU) Fowler School of Business. He attended University of Phoenix where he earned a Ph.D. in organizational leadership with an emphasis in information systems technology from their School of Advanced Science (SAS), an MBA in technology management, and a bachelor's degree in business management. 

Alongside his role at SDSU, Wester is an associate professor, head of STEM Lab, and STEM programs director for Alliant International University's California School of Management and Leadership (CSML); a lecturer for Westcliff University's College of Technology and Engineering (COTE), and a guest lecturer at Tianjin University and Ningxia University in mainland China. He is also the chief analytics officer and co-founder of Foundation Enterprise. 


In his previous role, Wester was director advanced analytics, data science and research for Dentsu Aegis's iProspect, where he led innovative global analytics and business intelligence initiatives and teams for clients including Google, Microsoft, Apple, Meta, PayPal, Sony, T-Mobile, The Walt Disney Company, Intuit, Intel, Allstate, Anthem, and a number of other Fortune 500 organizations. Wester previously taught for Brigham Young University and Southern New Hampshire University. He was director web analytics for Pulitzer Prize-winning Deseret News, KSL/NBC News, KIRO Seattle, KTAR Phoenix, KSWD Los Angeles, and Bonneville International through Deseret Digital Media.

Wester was also director web production for NetZero, Juno, Classmates.com, United Online, and United States Congress - HIR (House information Resources) for Congressman James Rogan in the House of Representatives. He's also worked in technology roles at idealab! and Earthlink. 


Wester's published research includes AI hallucinations detection through Mississippi State University's department of technology, fusion of AI and quantitative reasoning, the impact of ethical dilemmas for AI integrated in business strategies, Amazon purchaser sentiment before and during a global pandemic.  Wester also holds a patent for T-Mobile and iProspect on systems and methods for optimizing and simulating webpage ranking and traffic.
