Day 1: Initiative by The Corky McMillin Center for Real Estate, real estate alumni, and The Real Estate Society of SDSU brings experiential learning to students to connect classroom content to practical skills. Programs include:
Real Estate Financial Modeling (FIN 335)
Provides you with foundations and a wide array of financial modeling skills specific to real estate development transaction modeling and equity JV (joint venture) partnership returns analysis. This course will help you:
- get ready for job interviews
- build your skills for class assignments
- improve your understanding of real estate modeling in Excel
Accelerated Analyst Program (AAP)
Consists of a series of workshops, held in the offices of various working professionals, where participants learn specific skills to equip them for an analyst role. At the end of the six-session program, attendees will receive a certificate of completions for their resume as well as have an comprehensive understanding of a multifamily analyst role.
