Fowler Success, Safe at Home: An Interview with MSA Alumnus Richard Price

Richard Price (’18 & ’19) is a double alumnus earning both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accountancy from the Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy in the Fowler College of Business. Price discusses his role as a Risk Assurance Associate at PwC with San Diego State University business librarian, Timothy Tully.

Their conversation explores the benefits and challenges of working remotely amidst the pandemic. Price shares how he utilized several campus resources and experiences during his time as a student to gain his current position. His journey to PwC began with networking with a PwC employee when Price was a member of the Student Accounting Society (SAS). Finally, Price encourages students to focus on developing their communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills to ensure success in the job market after graduation.
