Fowler Offers Four of the Top 10 Degree Programs for 2020 Graduates

When SDSU hosts its virtual commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 16, a substantial portion of the 10,395 graduates will be earning their degrees from the Fowler College of Business (FCB). In fact, four of the top 10 most popular undergraduate degree programs – management (#10), accounting (#8), finance (#5) and marketing (#4) - are within FCB.  

At the start of the academic year, Fowler College had a total of 6,144 students, making it the largest of SDSU’s seven colleges that offer graduate and undergraduate degree programs. Graduating 1,611 undergraduates and 156 graduate students (1,767 in total), Fowler College has the highest number of graduating students this year. This is slightly more than the 1,714 who were eligible to walk across the stage in 2019.

Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, live commencement ceremonies for the class of 2020 have been postponed until December 2020. At that time, graduates will be invited back to campus and given the traditional opportunity to walk the stage at Viejas Area as they celebrate with their loved ones.
