Dan Goldzband
Accounting Lecturer
Finance Committee Member of the Bach Collegium San Diego
When Dan Goldzband and his wife wanted to expand their music experience beyond the local symphony and opera, they discovered, and became fans of Bach Collegium San Diego (BCSD), which is an assembly of vocalists and instrumentalists specializing renaissance, baroque and early classical era music performances.

To further support the organization, Goldzband volunteered to sit on the BCSD’s finance committee. “Since I’m not a marketing person or a musician, a seat on the finance committee seemed like the place I could add the most value,” said Goldzband who teaches Managerial Accounting Fundamentals (ACCTG-220) at the Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy at the Fowler College of Business.
Though he only joined the committee “a few months ago,” Goldzband already has big plans for his new role. “I am the only accountant on the committee and my initial project is to restructure the financial statements to more accurately reflect financial performance.”
