Bio
David Goldberg is an assistant professor of Management Information Systems at San Diego State University. He received his doctoral and bachelor’s degrees from Virginia Tech. His current research interests are in the areas of text mining, machine learning, decision support systems, and expert systems. Dr. Goldberg’s recent research has applied text mining to product quality and safety, using online reviews to identify and flag unsafe or defective products. His recent publications have appeared in Decision Support Systems, Decision Sciences, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, Information Technology & Management, Safety Science, and others.
