Oakley Tour & Marketing Plan

As part of their Marketing class, SMBA ’25 visited the Oakley Headquarters in Foothill Ranch with Professor Chris Clark (SMBA '12), where they experienced an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour. The site visit showcased the Oakley brand, their extensive research & development, unique technology, and company history.

Throughout this semester, students have worked on a group project to develop a marketing plan for Oakley’s sports-specific eyewear through NIL partnerships with college athletes. The assignment tasked students to apply marketing concepts learned throughout the course to Oakley's brand objectives & target KPIs and a growing sector of the sports-business industry (NIL partnerships). 

The Marketing course wrapped up with the groups presenting their final Oakley strategic plans to the company in the classroom. After each presentation, the students received valuable feedback from the panel, comprised of industry experts.
