Organizational behavior and leadership expert, Beth Chung, was honored with the 2024 Alumni Award for Outstanding Faculty Contribution to the Univesity from the Fowler College of Business. Chung was given the award based on her research, teaching and service during this year’s All-University Convocation on August 22.

The Alumni Association Award for Outstanding Faculty Contributor, one of SDSU’s most prestigious faculty awards, is presented annually to one faculty member from each of the university’s seven academic colleges.

She has a strong research record with 36 published articles in high-quality academic journals and she is the co-founder and current director for the Institute on Inclusiveness and Diversity in Organizations (IIDO). In addition, she was the recipient of SDSU’s Diversity Excellence Award in 2023 and Fowler’s Teaching Excellence Award in 2022.
