Two Fowler Students Named to SDSUs 2022 Homecoming Royals Court
As San Diego State celebrates its first homecoming in Snapdragon Stadium on Saturday, November 12, two of the 10 Homecoming Royals candidates will be crowned to reign over the event.
SDSU has adopted a gender-neutral homecoming court with homecoming royals in lieu of the traditional queen and king scenario to be inclusive of all genders.
Each member of the homecoming court was nominated by various SDSU student organizations and selected by a team of faculty, staff and alumni based on each student nominees’ leadership, school spirit, integrity and achievement through their contributions and involvement on campus.
Fowler College of Business students, Charlie Sallee and Michael Rumfola, are two members of the Royals Court. Sallee, a management senior was nominated by Associated Students and Rumfola, a senior majoring in marketing, was nominated by SDSU Ambassadors.
Rumfola and Sallee are both active within the SDSU community and they recently discussed the importance of getting involved with SDSU student organizations.
