Huiyu Qian

Bio

Huiyu Qian is a management information systems lecturer at the Fowler College of Business. She is also an associate professor and program director at California School of Management and Leadership.

Qian earned her MS in statistics and Ph.D. in applied mathematics with concentration on probability and statistics from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA. Her main research interest includes applications of statistics and data science in the areas of business analytics, marketing, operational optimization, and finance. She has years of teaching experience with diverse populations as well as years of corporate working experience in business analytics and quantitative research.
