Gabi Eissa

Bio

Gabi Eissa is an associate professor of management and organizational behavior who joined the Fowler College of Business in 2018. Before joining SDSU, Eissa held an assistant professor of management position at the University of Wisconsin, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses. He earned his Ph.D. in management from the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University with a concentration in organizational behavior. At SDSU, Eissa’s teachings focus on organizational behavior and leadership development in the undergraduate and MBA programs.

Eissa has won numerous awards for his classroom and scientific research work, and his professional experience involves management consulting, and training and developing personnel. His research examines individual differences, leadership, workplace deviance, and counterproductive work behaviors has been published in top-tier journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Business Research.
