Fred Raafat

Bio

Fred Raafat is a professor of operations and supply chain management in the department of management information systems and he has taught in the Fowler College of Business at San Diego State University since 1986. He studied industrial engineering and management in the College of Engineering at Oklahoma State University and completed his Ph.D. in 1982. 

Raafat has published in a variety of journals such as Operational Research,  Production and Inventory  Management, International Journal of Management, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Small Business Journal, The Journal of World Investment & Trade and many others.

Raafat has been the recipient of Outstanding Faculty Contribution (2003), and Most Influential Faculty (1998, 2018) awards.
