Across her 24-year investment career with APG Asset Management, Ann Marie played a pivotal role in developing the US fixed income team, managing close to $30 billion AUM. Chairing the US Strategy Team focused on all fixed income sectors, she oversaw the investment framework in setting the overall risk profile, sector allocations, duration and hedges in addition to serving on the Global Relative Value Group which provided strategic investment advice and determined asset allocations to the Global Credit and Private Credit teams. Ann Marie is also a member of the Committee for Investment Proposals which reviews all public and private investments with external managers and strategic partners.
As a senior member of the global management team, she works directly with the CIO to provide oversight on the investment and product strategy, building a robust investment framework and processes for delivering superior results. In addition to leading, shaping and mentoring the global fixed income team, she will drive the evolution of the product pipeline, expand capabilities by developing new product offerings as well as provide fixed income expertise for multi-asset impact investment strategies.
Valuing the environment, social governance, diversity and inclusion, Ann Marie is a certified sustainable investment professional who works with her team to incorporate ESG considerations into the investment process and pioneered the investment in Green Bonds. She is also committed to upholding the UN PRI’s principles for sustainable investing. She is also a founding member of the APG Asset Management US D&I Board which champions diversity, inclusion, and access. Ann Marie uses her network to support and connect female executives and she actively mentors young women in the Financial Services industry.
She holds an MBA from Long Island University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, in history from Franklin and Marshall college.
