Bio
Valerie Novikova is a faculty member in the management information systems department at SDSU's Fowler College of Business . She is currently teaching Principles of Information Systems(MIS180) and Database systems (MIS380) courses. Additionally, she serves as the chief engineer at Sigma Defense Systems, managing a team of software engineers for the TORIS contract.
Valerie holds a Master's degree in information technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology, a master's degree in finance from Kiev National University of Economics, and a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance. She also earned a bachelor's degree in engineering systems and ecology from Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture.
