Bio
Taekjin Shin is a professor of management. He received his Ph.D. in sociology from the University of California at Berkeley. Before joining SDSU in 2015, he was on the faculty at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He teaches and researches business ethics, corporate governance, executive succession, and boards of directors. He has published his research in Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Management, Strategic Management Journal, and other scholarly journals. He is an editor of Corporate Governance: An International Review and serves on the editorial review boards of Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Organization Science, and Strategic Organization.
