Bio
Tom Clark is a marketing lecturer at the Fowler College of Business and has had a distinguished career as a senior sales executive and entrepreneur in the high technology industry. He has held a variety of leadership roles in direct sales, channel sales, strategic alliance management and global business development at Fortune 500 companies including IBM, Dell-EMC, and Verizon Communications.
Clark was also a co-founder of Publications and Communications, Inc. (PCI), a technology publishing and marketing communications company. He served as president, and vice president of sales at PCI and managing director of PCI-Europe. The company was recognized as one of Inc. Magazine’s 500 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies for four consecutive years.
Prior to teaching MKTG 377- Selling Strategy and Practices at SDSU, Clark taught professional sales and sales management courses at Kansas State University and at Texas State University. He also operates a sales consulting practice.
Clark received an undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and an M.S. degree from Emporia State University.
