Steven Osinski currently teaches courses in Sales and Direct Marketing at San Diego State University. He brings valuable business experience to his students within the advertising, marketing and sales professions.

Osinski’s commitment towards enhanced education extends far beyond the classroom into board memberships and philanthropy. He is an active board member and former Chair of the Lavin Entrepreneurship Center advisory board and he also serves on the Fowler College of Business’ marketing department advisory board. 

He has created and endowed SDSU’s “WOMEN IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP & LEADERSHIP” forum which has grown into a major university event focused on promoting important lessons on gender-equality and female empowerment. (business.sdsu.edu/wiel) In addition, he helped fund and launch the PSSM (Professional Sales & Sales Management) program in the Fowler College of Business

Outside of campus, Osinski created “3 Hour Learning,” an online digital educational program hosted on YouTube that teaches entrepreneurs and business professionals the fundamentals of success in sales.

Before joining SDSU, Osinski was the founder and CEO of the SMART GROUP; a national advertising agency that specialized in serving the direct marketing needs of some of the nation’s largest Wireless carriers. The SMART GROUP was acquired by TMP WORLDWIDE / MONSTER.COM and Osinski served as the vice president of marketing for their directional marketing division overseeing a half billion dollars in ad revenues.

He attended the University of Miami earning a BA in mass communications and an MBA in marketing. He is married and has two daughters.
