Bio
Soodeh Atefi is currently teaching Database Management Systems in the department of management information systems (MIS). She obtained her M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Houston. She successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis in the summer of 2023.
Her research interests revolve around applied artificial intelligence and machine learning. She has recently published in two top high-impact conferences: The Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI 2023) and the International World Wide Web Conference (WWW 2023).
