Rena Strohmeier

Bio

Rena Strohmeier is a finance lecturer in the Fowler College of Business at San Diego State University. She currently teaches the Principles of Risk Management and Insurance (FIN 334) to undergraduate students. 

Strohmeier is also tenured in the insurance industry with over 25 years of experience and is currently a property claims supervisor with Wawanesa Insurance. She also has claims experience in auto, property, catastrophe, and enterprise supporting departments.

Strohmeier has an MBA from the American College of Education in social impact, concentrating on sustainability, and holds her CPCU, AIC, and AINS designations.
