Bio
Dr. Rebecca Perols earned her master’s degree from San Diego State’s Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy in 2010 and her Ph.D. from the University of South Florida in 2019. Shortly after earning her Ph.D. she returned to the Lamden School of Accountancy as an assistant professor.
Prior to receiving her Ph.D., Perols worked as a technology risk manager at a global consulting firm, and later, as an accounting lecturer at the University of San Diego.
Her teaching and research specializations include cybersecurity, data analytics, and internal controls.
