Bio
Robert Garvey is an attorney and a retired Big Four partner who offers technical and practical tax consulting expertise to Fortune 500 companies and high net worth individuals. Garvey is highly skilled in a variety of multi-state and California tax areas, including income/franchise, indirect tax, credits and incentives and unclaimed property. He is a sought after speaker on multistate tax matters who regularly presents to a diverse group of professional organizations, including numerous chapters of Tax Executives Institute (TEI) and Council on State Taxation (COST) across the country.
Garvey teaches Multijurisdictional Tax (ACCTG 665) and Business Entity Taxation (ACCTG 624) in the Master of Science degree in accountancy (MSA) taxation specialization (TAX) program. He obtained his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati and B.S. (finance) from Miami University.
