Peter Thurman

Bio

Pete Thurman is a management lecturer at the Fowler School of Business at San Diego State University.  He has been teaching management and organizational behavior courses during the past 7 years and has over 30 years of experience leading and supporting teams in healthcare and technology.  

In his current full-time role as an operational development manager for UC San Diego Health, Thurman is responsible for leading process improvement initiatives in the clinic and emergency departments of the organization.  His experience and knowledge in the areas of organizational leadership, organizational structure, and management provides broad and unique insights for students to further their understanding of these topics.  

Thurman currently teaches Management and Organizational Behavior (BA 350)  to undergraduates.
