Bio
Mike Walsh is a finance lecturer at SDSU's Fowler College of Business and is currently teaching Principles of Risk Management and Insurance (FIN 334). With nearly 50 years as an insurance professional, Walsh is currently an independent insurance broker in San Diego County. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1978.
Walsh said that his objective is to give students a solid foundation on how the insurance industry operates and the career opportunities within the industry.
