Myles Stern

Bio

Myles Stern, Ph.D., CMA, is lecturer in the Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy at San Diego State University and an associate professor of accounting in the Mike Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University. He received his Ph.D. in accounting from Michigan State University and earned a certificate of distinguished performance on the CMA examination. His research and teaching focus on using technology in accounting. Myles has published many articles in Communications of the Association for Information Systems, Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of Accounting Education, Internal Auditing, and other journals. He has presented many workshops and lectures on technology in accounting for the American Accounting Association, the Michigan Association of CPAs, and other organizations.
