Bio

Dave Meader is a lecturer in the MIS Department. He teaches Principles of Information Systems (MIS 180), Systems Analysis (MIS 306), and Digital Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MIS 455).  Prior to San Diego State, he taught at several universities near San Francisco while consulting for Silicon Valley tech start-ups. He also served as a full-time faculty member at the University of Arizona.

Meader has published on the subject of virtual team work and is preparing to release his book The Lean Volunteer: How To Travel The World And Do Good With Your Business Expertise based on his year-long trip around the world doing pro bono consulting for small social enterprises in very low-income communities.
