Bio

Cyrille Mahfoud, a finance lecturer in the Fowler College of Business, provided investment advisory services for Private Asset Management, Inc., primarily on a discretionary, basis to $100 Million across individuals assets while implementing and maintaining their compliance programs and providing guidance to staff. He's also served as the assistant vice president in the Governance, Risk and Compliance group of LPL Financial overseeing several teams that reviewed and approved investment communications and buy-side equity research materials. 

Though he currenty works in the finance industry, Mahfoud graduated from a French culinary school and previously worked with Michelin Star chefs. He excels at making creme brulee.

Mahfoud graduated from SDSU with a BS in finance and enjoys tennis, soccer, red wine and running half- marathons. He’s a CFA charterholder and has his ESG investing certificate from the CFA institute. He's also on the board of dIrectors of the CFA Society of San Diego as the advocacy chair.
