The Lab has held special tours for alumni, including a visit by Sempra executives and a special media coverage by the firm Clear Channels.

High School Students

Based on agreements with some local school districts, and through coordination with SDSU’s “Compact for Success” program, special financial literacy classes have been held at the Lab. Tenth-grade students from various high schools have been invited to the Lab, receiving from Wells Fargo personnel, Finance faculty, and Lab assistants presentations and talks on “Financial Literacy and College Saving”:

On August 20, 2013, YALLA, a local organization that assists refugee and immigrant youth to help rebuild their lives through our education and leadership programs, brought a group of 15 high school students to SDSU for a campus tour. The goal was to “demystify college” for these students. The group visited the Lab and received a presentation on financial literacy.
