Dr. C. Janie Chang Named Director of SDSU’s Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy
SAN DIEGO (August 19, 2013) - The College of Business Administration at San Diego State University (SDSU) announced that SDSU accounting professor, Dr. C. Janie Chang, has been named the William E. Cole director of the Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy effective August 19, 2013.
In addition to serving as chair, Chang will continue to serve as the Vern Odmark-endowed professor of accountancy at SDSU with a specialization in accounting information systems.
“It is a great honor to have been selected by my peers to lead the Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy,” said Chang.”This is an exciting time for the school as it continues to emerge as one of the leading academic accountancy programs in the state of California. I look forward to working with our faculty, staff, and administration as we set the standard for educational excellence and provide our accounting students with the skills demanded by today’s business environment.”

Chang earned her Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine and has been with SDSU since 2006.
