Panelist Biographies

David Marino is executive vice president of Hughes Marino, an industry leading California tenant representation firm. He is an expert in the strategic planning, market assessment, financial analysis, business terms structuring, and negotiations aspects of real estate. David is a Real Estate lecturer at USC and SDSU, and holds an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Real Estate from USC.

Dan McQueen leads the worldwide operations of Fluid Components International LLC (FCI) as CEO. FCI has operations in Europe, Asia and most recently a joint venture in the Middle East. Mr. McQueen led FCI’s early growth and expansion in the international markets. Previously, Dan worked for Hughes Helicopters and Mc Donnell Douglas, and holds a B.A. in Economics from UCLA.

Ted Molter is the chief marketing officer for San Diego Zoo Global. Prior to this, he was Public Relations Director at Seaworld for eight years. He is the current chair of the San Diego Tourism Authority and board member and past chairman of the California Travel Association. Ted holds a B.A. in Biology & Communication from Kent State University.

Jerry Sanders began his lifelong career in public service when he joined the San Diego Police Department at the age of 22. He has continued to serve San Diego as Chief of Police, CEO of the United Way, and Mayor. Sanders currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. Jerry is an alumnus of SDSU and National University.
