Business Students and Tita Gray Honored in Quest for the Best
Three SDSU business students and one faculty member were among the 10 undergraduates recognized as SDSU's 2014 Quest for the Best winners.
Junior finance major Jonathan Cole, senior marketing major Jordan Harrison, and junior management major Javon Ogbeide were honored with management lecturer Tita Gray as part of SDSU's most prestigious student achievement awards at a gala award dinner held on April 25 at the new Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.
Now in its 28th year, Quest for the Best honorees are chosen for their outstanding achievements in:
- Involvement in student organizations and campus activities
- Community service
- Leadership ability
All eligible students must be currently enrolled at SDSU, have a 3.0 GPA or better, and have completed a minimum of 75 units of course work.
Students receiving the Quest for the Best award chose one SDSU faculty or staff member as having made most positive impact in their academic career who are also honored with a Faculty/Staff Quest for the Best award. Cole's chosen faculty member was Gray, who has been bestowed the honor for the second year in a row. Harrison chose to honor Campus Internship Coordinator Heather LaPerle and Ogbeide honored Dr. Sandra Cook, Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management.
