Jon Baumunk

Bio

Jon Baumunk earned a J.D. (magna cum laude) from California Western School of Law, an M.S. in Accountancy from San Diego State University, and a B.S. in Economics (cum laude) from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.  He has taught a variety of accounting and other business classes.  Previously, he spent six years as faculty and senior staff in legal education, most recently teaching contracts and sales as a visiting assistant professor of law.  Before entering academia, he practiced business and insurance law in Las Vegas, was a senior financial analyst at an insurance industry rating agency, and was an investment analyst and portfolio manager at a state pension fund, a mutual fund, a bank, and the world's largest sovereign wealth fund.
