Bio

Erlinde Cornelis is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Fowler College of Business. She obtained her Ph.D. from Ghent University, funded by the competitive research grant B.O.F.. Next, she was awarded a Belgian American Education Foundation Francqui grant to conduct postdoctoral research at SDSU.
 
Dr. Cornelis teaches Marketing Research (undergrad) and Sustainable Marketing/Sports & Society (Sports MBA) and serves as the co-PI for SCEIN (Southern California Energy Innovation Network) incubator at SDSU, funded by CEC (California Energy Commission). Her research background is (resistance to) persuasion, two-sidedness, and ambivalence. Her interests include social, economic, environmental, and personal (health, wellbeing) sustainability. In 2017 and 2018, Dr. Cornelis was named the Most Influential Professor in Marketing in the Fowler College of Business.
