Morgan (Poor) Miles completed her masters research at the University of Kentucky and her doctoral research at Indiana University and is now an associate professor of marketing in the Fowler College of Business at San Diego State University. The primary focus of her research has been in the areas of sensory marketing and message framing. Her work has been published in the Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Consumer Research, and the Journal of Consumer Psychology, among others and featured in popular press outlets such as The Today Show and New York Times Magazine. Dr. Miles currently serves on the editorial review board of the Journal of Consumer Psychology and the Journal of Retailing and teaches integrated marketing communication courses at the undergraduate level.
