Bio

Dr. Dave Meader is a lecturer in the MIS Department. He teaches MIS 180 – Principles of Information Systems and MIS 306 – Systems Analysis. Prior to San Diego State, he taught at several universities near San Francisco while consulting for Silicon Valley tech start-ups. Prior to that he was a full time faculty member at the University of Arizona. Dave received his Ph.D. in computer information systems, MA in psychology, and B.S. in computer science at the University of Michigan, and his MBA from the University of North Carolina. He has published in the area of virtual team work and is preparing to release his book The Lean Volunteer: How To Travel The World And Do Good With Your Business Expertise.
